As a long-time electrical project manager in an installation company, I know the pitfalls of electrical diagrams in paper form firsthand! The idea for cirQit was born when, once again under time pressure, I was confronted with tattered and incomplete system documentation while troubleshooting. The idea became a vision! There is a need for a platform-independent application for the digitalization of system documentation that supports and connects all involved professional groups throughout the entire life cycle of an electrical system. From the engineer and automation technician to the circuit diagram designer, the switchgear fitter, the electrician, and the service technician, always with the central guiding principle in mind: Keep it smart, fast and simple!

I started my professional career as a plant and construction electrician. More than 25 years ago, I switched to computer science. During this time, I was involved in various projects as a software developer, system engineer, and Scrum master.
The idea of cirQit fascinated me from the beginning. The diverse tasks, from building the cloud infrastructure to tinkering with the code, are a great challenge that I accomplish with great pleasure.
To compensate, I play soccer, enjoy snowboarding, and enjoy sailing and diving with my friends.
